THE STORY OF PHOTO WEAVERS

In 1988, Jay Clark founded Pure Country Weavers with a vision to create quality textile products at reasonable prices. Our original woven blankets and tapestries featured artistic designs, making them perfect for gifts and home decor. We initially sold to boutique gift stores worldwide, growing our business each year through our commitment to quality and timely delivery. As we expanded, we added more looms and welcomed additional family members to our team. Along the way, we gained world-renowned clients such as the White House, IBM, and Paramount Pictures, who value our dedication to excellence.

In our pursuit of innovation, we accidentally developed a process to transform photos into woven products with quick turnaround times, leading to the birth of Photo Weavers. This evolution took us around the globe, connecting with professional photographers eager to use our blankets for their clients. After Jay Clark's passing, the company was passed on to his son, George Clark, ensuring the family legacy continues.

As a family-owned business and one of the last great textile mills in the United States, we proudly represent North Carolina. As our company grows, we remain committed to fostering a creative environment for our incredible employees, enabling us to produce exceptionally high-quality products for our valued customers. By choosing Photo Weavers for your custom blankets, you support high-quality American jobs and the time-honored tradition of real woven products made on state-of-the-art looms by people who care.
